Draft: this text is still being reviewed and has gaps that we will fill in.

Who is responsible

The website is run by [FILL: legal entity name], [FILL: registered address in Portugal]. Contact: [FILL: privacy email address]. See the privacy policy for how we handle personal data.

What we use

We use a small amount of storage in your browser to make the site work and, only if you agree, to measure how it is used. We do not use advertising or profiling cookies.

Always on: needed or requested by you

These do not need your consent. They keep your cookie choice and the settings you pick, and they are not used to track you.

Analytics: only with your consent

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages help. After you accept, Google Analytics sets these cookies and measures your visit:

NameProviderPurposeDuration
_gaGoogle (set on our domain)Tells visitors apart2 years
_ga_<ID>Google (set on our domain)Keeps the state of a visit2 years
Before you choose, the site loads Google's measurement script in a restricted mode. It sets no cookies, but your browser sends Google a request with technical data: the page address, the referrer, your browser type, the time, your IP address and your consent state. Google may use these signals to estimate overall traffic. If you reject, nothing else is stored. [FILL: lawyer to approve this wording and the legal basis]

Google processes this as described in its terms and may transfer data outside the European Economic Area; see the privacy policy, section 6. [FILL: Google Analytics settings: retention in months; Google signals and data sharing off]

Measurement without cookies

Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights count page views and loading performance. [FILL: confirm what they store and for how long] They set no cookies.

Change or withdraw your choice

Use "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page to accept, reject or change analytics at any time. Withdrawing consent removes the Google Analytics cookies and stops them being set. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings.

Your rights

Your rights over personal data, and how to complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD) or another authority, are in the privacy policy, section 8.

Cookie preferences

You choose which cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer. Privacy policy

Necessary

Always on

Needed for the site to work: your light/dark theme and this cookie choice are stored in your browser. They do not track you.

Analytics

Google Analytics 4 measures how pages are used through statistics, which helps us improve the site. If you accept, it sets cookies and measures your visit in full. If you decline, it sets no cookies, but Google may still receive technical data such as the page viewed, your browser type and IP address.
