Business customers and prospects often need legal and security documents before or during a purchase. Here is how to ask for them and what to expect.
What you can request
- Data processing agreement (DPA): the Article 28 GDPR agreement for customers whose data includes personal data.
- Non-disclosure agreement (NDA): a mutual NDA for detailed security or commercial discussions.
- Security questionnaire: answers to your supplier security form, or to our standard answers.
- Other legal documents: sub-processor list, questions about the terms, or a contract review.
How to ask
Email support@collectasolutions.com with the subject "Legal request" and tell us:
- what you need (DPA, NDA, security questionnaire or something else)
- your company name and the legal entity that would sign
- your name, role and email
- your deadline, and whether you attach your own template
What happens next
We confirm receipt within one business day. How long a full answer takes depends on the request. A standard mutual NDA or the DPA on our paper is usually quick; your own NDA, or a long questionnaire, needs review and takes longer. [FILL: realistic turnaround per request type]
Documents are signed by an authorised person of the contracting entity. [FILL: who signs for Collecta]
Confidentiality
Our terms of service contain a mutual confidentiality clause for customers. A separate NDA is for discussions before an agreement, or for sharing detailed security documents. Once an agreement is signed, its confidentiality clause applies. Information that is public, such as published passport data, is not confidential.
Security information
We share security information on request, under confidentiality, and describe only measures we can confirm. [FILL: add the security overview, sub-processor list and any certifications only once they exist and are confirmed in writing]
A request about your own personal data
